<idPurp>This dataset depicts all categories of completed Capital Projects from the past 5 years occurring inside the city limits of Houston or within Houston’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). The categories include Agreements, Contract Overlay, Roadway, Sidewalks, Storm/Sewar, Wastewater, and Water. The original datasets reside in GeoGIMS DB under the CP schema (i.e., GeoGIMS.CP.AGREEMENTS, GeoGIMS.CP.CONTR_OVL, GeoGIMS.CP.ROADWAY, GeoGIMS.CP.SIDEWALKS, GeoGIMS.CP.STORM_SEWER, GeoGIMS.CP.WASTEWATER, and GeoGIMS.CP.WATER). This dataset is recreated every Monday at 2 AM using a Windows Scheduled Task on .144 calling a Python script called update_council_district_capital_project.py. It is recreated weekly since the 7 origin datasets are recreated weekly.</idPurp>

Therefore, projects crossing council districts, have been duplicated enough times to ensure that only a single council district value appears in the COUN_DIST column (e.g., if a specific project occurs in 3 council districts, it has 3 records in this dataset). This allows us to use a simple definition query on each council district layer (i.e., COUN_DIST = 'A'). Furthermore, this COH data is prepared and made available for general reference purposes only and should not be used, or relied upon for specific applications, without independent verification. The City of Houston neither represents, nor warrants data accuracy, or completeness, nor will the City of Houston accept liability of any kind in conjunction with its use.</useLimit>
